Long time no post

I'm home again! Thanks to everyone for your lovely comments and well-wishes. I'm feeling 100%, fired up and back into it again! I have to thank all you wonderful ladies in blogland for being such motivational and inspirational women... After catching up with most people's blogs last week I felt myself getting my enthusiasm back, and I am so pumped to be back in this happy place!! Big hugs to you all!!!!

Right, anyway, so I was back into some light exercise by Thursday, and did some weights and cardio on Friday morning. Took the dogs for a walk yesterday afternoon, and will do so again this afternoon. Tomorrow I'm back at my old gym - YAAAAAYYYY~~! I'm going to revise my weights programme this afternoon (I cant believe I'm at week 7 already, and I've been so slack) so BRING IT ON this week! Looking forward to some good old DOMS this week - two weeks without it, hmmmmm I have been slack.

Yesterday I was so motivated that I got up early and did the grocery shopping early before the shops got busy, then I did a big cook up - first some chicken and vegetable soup, and then I made some chicken rissoles. This afternoon I'll cook up a big batch of chicken and vege stir fry with rice to portion out and pack into the freezer for the week.

And guess what - I managed to have a Saturday night without a free meal - wooooooohooooo! I'm so pleased with myself! BF had fish and chips, and I had fish and salad (with mustard ~lol!!). We went to see The Da Vinci Code last night (not as bad as some of the reviews say - a bit long though) and then when we got home I had ONE glass of white wine... that was my only bad thing.

Oh and I have discovered Sugar Snap Peas... mmmm--mmmmm they are my new snack food. Also I have got this addiction to buying new flavours of tea/coffee. I've got this bad habit of standing in the tea/coffee aisle at the supermarket for ages, and just about every week I buy a new box (I'm like a kid in a lollie shop). Well yesterday I found these "Chai Latte" sachets... Vanilla flavoured... let me just say that this is my new treat - one per day. Ooooo they are so yummy!

Anyway I havent taken any photos with my new camera yet, I'm still trying to figure it out!
Next post I should have some to display.

Have a great Sunday everyone!!

I'll be shopping for warm stuff for Melbourne too, but also here in Perth... it got down to 0.25 would you believe it??? I don't like it this cold!! Bring on summer, and here's hoping this season's summer last a whole lot longer than last!!

Have a great day sweetie... xxx

Hi Hilary, some bad bugs seem to be striking heaps of people down at the moment but I'm glad you're all better :) Yay for the big cook-ups, I hate them but love the feeling of being prepared. Why even contemplate eating something that's not 'allowed' when you've already got your meals done! Saves alllll that head hassle.
Mmmm sugar snap peas... I love em too. The nice ripe (can snow peas be ripe...lol!) crunchy ones :)
I'm coming into week 7 as well, and been a bit slack as well...hang on who am I kiding, i've been terrible! But I'm hoping for an awesome 6 weeks!! I'm in it with ya!! Have a great week
xoxo

Glad to hear you are feeling so much better and are getting back into it. Like you I didn't have nmy free meal on the wekend either! I was all set to have pancakes and 'real' maple syrup after the fun run yestewrday but in the end I decided to have my food! Still can't believe I passed up on the maple syrup!
I am into week 8 - can't believe how quickly it has gone. Did you get professional photos done the first time you did this program? And how hard is that last week? It looks really daunting! Have a good week.

I fell in love with Chai Tea (lattes) before they became popular - I swear everyone copied me!!!!! I have found a place where the sell the organic original chai tea that doesn't have the added sugar the lattes on the shelves have - yummo good for you too!!! it is high on peoples health list in India. Glad to see your happier and fired up this week hils!!! There is soooooo much support in blog land it is absolutely fantastic we are all here for each other!!!!! I didn't realise you where on another program, what are your goals this time??? You look fabulous in your photos it would be hard to top your previous results!!!

Thanks Rae - yes get some warm clothes for Melbourne, I hate to think what another 4 weeks time will do to the weather down there!

Lia I'm loving being back in my own bed with my own pillow! So looking forward to finally meeting you - you are one dedicated chickybabe, that's for sure!

Hi Selina - I read in the paper that there is a bit of a stomach bug epidemic in Brisbane at the moment, I think perhaps thats what I had. Glad I'm not the only one who's been a bit slack. Here's to the next 6 weeks!!

Thanks Jeh- stand by for some piccies! I've just got to load the software...

Hi Hilds - thank YOU for your support! It was from reading everyones blogs that got ME all motivated again - so thanks!

Thanks Shar, and its good to see you back too!

Thanks Michelle, its so good to change your programme isn't it? Such a great feeling of a fresh start, and yes I'm getting some muscle soreness already!

Hi CJ - time flies doesn't it?!! Well done on not having a free meal, how good does it make you feel? And yes I did get professional photos done, I considered it my 'reward' for all the hard work I'd put in, and I'm so glad I did - I now have these wonderful photos to look back on!! The final week is tough, but the motivation is so strong in that last week that its really hard to lose your focus, especially if you're going to stand in front of a photographer in a bikini!! (how motivating is that!!)

Thanks for the recipe Lauren... I'm going to have to go get some Honey Mustard Seeds to try this - it sounds yummy! Sounds like we all have our favourite little additions to our meals, enjoy your BBQ sauce!

Thanks Jodi - how yum is Chai Latte? I'm so happy I found them! The support of this fitness community just amazes me, you are all such wonderful girls!! Thanks for the compliment too, my goals this time were more about getting my new habits cemented in my brain. Not doing too good lately, but I am all set to blitz it these next 6 weeks!
